For Saturday-Monday, July 2-4, free parking availability near the downtown will increase by over 400 spaces with the opening of a parking area just west of U.S. 1 on King St.

Located at the corner of W. King St. and Hartshorn St. (click here for a map), the lot is approximately one mile, a 20 minute walk, to the Bayfront. There is no shuttle service available to or from the W. King St. lot.

The Historic Downtown Parking Facility located at the Visitors Information Center (click here for a map) can accommodate 1,200 vehicles. The rate is $12 per car per entry.

Parking in the lot at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is not free and is enforced by the National Park Service from 8:00am – 5:00pm, seven days a week, including Sundays and federal holidays.

Our bikes are available to rent 24/7 from any Rentbike station. Renting a bike is easy using our free app, the on-bike computer, or by phoning the nextbike hotline. We have bikes in a growing number of cities and in 14 countries around the world. Our members can rent any of our bikes.. all 200 of them – and counting. Become a member today to start riding.

To get started, Juan buys £2 bike access for 24 hours, rides for 15 minutes to Square and docks his bike nearby. Later that day, he picks up another bike and rides for 22 minutes to the theatre and returns the bike there. The first 30 minutes of each journey is free, so Juan only pays £2 in total.

Visit TfL’s Cycle Hire docking station page to keep up to date with bike availability at your nearest docking station for hiring and returning the bikes.

If you are looking for inspiration, Transport for London has created some bike rides around London. The easy to follow, self-guided routes will help you discover London’s hidden gems by bike. There are also cycle paths in many of London’s parks including Regents Park.

When you’ve finished your journey, just drop the bike back to one of the many docking stations across London. Cycle Hire docking stations are located across nine London boroughs and in several Royal Parks in Central London.

If you want to hire a bike for a full day or longer, it may be cheaper to rent it from one of London’s many bicycle hire companies.

Cycles Bike Access Fees

£2 24 hours
£90 yearly (only available to registered members)

A big Thank You to everyone who attended the annual meeting on January 11th. For those of you who could not make it, here is a brief recap:

  • This year we will be hosting quarterly public meetings that will be open to all members. In addition to taking care of
routine board business, including planning, licensing, and zoning matters, we plan to host speakers on topics of general interest for the neighborhood. Please stay tuned for more information on those meetings which will be held at the Brookton Community Center.
  • To further our members’ connections with the business community, we’re excited to announce a new position of Business Liaison. Peter Srides of Saels & Associates has generously offered to step into this new role.
  • We honored Ed Scott, a life-long resident of Boston, and a tireless advocate for the Brookton and its parks.
